A winter roosting box is a great way to provide protection for smaller birds  from the harsh winter elements. In cold temperatures, these birds will often roost together to share body heat, greatly improving their chances of surviving extreme weather.

 The 1.5" diameter entrance hole is at the bottom and a guard can be purchased separately to keep predators at bay(see WFPG and WKPG1 below). The inside features removable perches to accommodate roosting birds. The front wall opens to allow for easy cleaning and maintenance. In warmer months, flip the front panel, remove the perches and it becomes a nesting box.
