We are under renovations and the Birdhouse is moving! My family and I have moved into the front of the house at 82 Main St. and the rear is starting the renovation process to turn it into retail space! While we have enjoyed our time at 240 Presqu’ile Parkway, and our proximity to Presqu’ile Provincial Park, that building was never intended to be a permanent space. We originally had other plans for Presqu’ile Parkway but Covid too had other ideas for 2020 and when this property came up downtown Brighton, we couldn’t walk away!
The plans include space for a walk up window to continue to keep us all safe during these difficult times.The Retail Store space will work similarly to what we currently have and of course the online site will continue! Watch Facebook for updates as I document the renovations for posterity and as the official move date becomes known. We are hoping for mid to end of February, but as will all things impacted by Covid, we don’t know what we don’t know.
We also hope to include info on the future of the current location at Presqu’ile Parkway for Shrew Solutions. We love our landlord Doug McRae and look forward to many years of cross promotion to encourage all of you to connect with nature in the many various ways our region offers.
